There was no honeymoon period that many monarchs experienced where they could settle in due to the fact that Parliament disliked him because of his troubles in Spain with Bristol.

It was okay because two subsidies were passed and there was a relaxation of religious laws
Although nothing really happened over this Parliament therefore its called the “Useless Parliament” due to the lack of activity.
