A request by a Puritan Earl to distance the Arminians from Charles.
How did Buckingham favour Charles?
Headed the conference and did not want to side against Charles and risk his position and so stopped it.

15k men went into the expedition
What were the problems that Cadiz had?
Buckingham was badly provisioned and supplied and this showed from his lack of experience
Some of the ships were very outdated by some 35 years.

Elections were due which distracted Charles and thought he could control sheriffs to oversee the election

Why did people want Villiers impeached? Who did Charles also blame?
They wanted him impeached for high treason in conspiracy for poisoning James and converting Charles to Catholicism for the failed Spanish Match in 1622-23
Blamed Earl of Bristol too.
What did Charles do when the Commons presented the dismissal to him?
He dissolved parliament after the House of Lords heard evidence against Villiers and the Commons demanded Buckingham to go.
