Define Dormant
“A state of minimal metabolic activity with cessation of growth and development”- Google
Define Cells
The smallest unit of life
What do cells contain and why is t important?
DNA, it passes through generation to generation
Do cells differ in structure and function?
Yes
Define unicellular
One cell
Define multicellular and give and example
More than one cell
EX: plants, animals

How do we get energy?
Metabolism
Define metabolism
rate at which we obtain energy from food.
What is the difference between anabolic and catabolic reactions?
Ana- Make
Cata-Break
What is the form of energy needed for our cells?
