A
- can be predatory which invloves taking someone else’s personal property without their permission
- eg: robbing their car
- can be fraudalent which involves trying to convert someone’s else property for your own use through deciet or manipulation
- eg: bank fraud

intererpersonal violence
A
- where person(s) is involved in actions where they use power or physical force to threaten or cause actual personal harm to another
- can be general eg: kidnapping or sexual eg: rape
- can be to yourself, someone else or another group

A
- when person has committed an offence that doesn’t have a direct victim but may have potential ones eg: loittering & rioting or diorderly conduct like fighting

transactional vice
A
- often considered victimless offences & involve a willing exchange of goods or services eg: selling drugs or prostitution

mundane/ folk crime
A
- can range from minor violations like fishing without a lisence to more serious ones like reckless or negligent driving (traffic violation)
- public tends to be more ambivalent to some of these crimes - minor violations often seen as more of nuisance
