Procrastination
Putting something off until tomorrow, what you can do today.
Perfectionism
An unhealthy compulsion to do things perfectly.
Game plan
The conscious act of planning your life, instead of letting things happen.
Mission statement
Establishes the purpose and values by which an individual or institution lives and works.
Goal setting
The identification of long-term and short-term goals.
Repetition
Helps your short-term memory secure a firmer grasp on the information, making it easier to retrieve when you need it.
Organization
Can be used to process new information for both short-term and long-term memory use.
Mnemonic
A device that helps you remember or recall information. Ex: word association, acronym, song or rhyme.
Mind Mapping
A method you can use to create a visual representation of your thoughts, ideas, and class notes.
Ethics
The moral principles by which we live and work.
Diplomacy
(Tact) the ability to deliver truthful, critical, or difficult messages in a kind way.
Professional image
The impression you project through your outward appearance and your conduct in the workplace.
Prioritize
To make a list of tasks that need to be done in the order of most-to-least important.
