To prove two triangles similar, one of the following must apply:

A
  • Triangles have to be equiangular, which means all the corresponding angles are equal. Two pairs of angles must be proved equal, then the third will be equal, because interior angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. (All corresponding sides will then be in the same proportion)
    - The corresponding sides are in the same proportion. (Then all the corresponding angles are equal)
