A
- Agreement made by company to pay for your health services, in exchange for a fee payed each month or year
- Used by many Americans but sometimes costs more than they can afford

Canada Health Care Act
A
In every province and territory in Canada healthcare must be:
- Run by the government with no profit
- All necessary health services (including hospital, surgical, dentistry etc.) must be insured
- All Canadian citizens are entitled to the same level of health care
- A citizen who moves to a new province or territory is still entitled to health care in their old province
- Canadian citizens must have reasonable access to healthcare facilities
