- Voluntary – On the clock – Make it seem necessary – Make training interesting – Focus on core competencies – Increase employee buy-in (give a choice in topic; let them help develop) – Provide incentives (food, certificates, college credit, pay increase) – Reduce associated stress (work release/ reduction?)
