- Willingness to do a job
- Self-confidence in carrying out a task
- Need satisfaction
People who like what they are doing are highly motivated to produce the expected output

- Expectancy theory
- Goal setting theory
According to this theory, human beings have five basic needs. It also implies that one need must be satisfied first before the other

This concerns biological needs and takes priority over other needs
