Q

What happened to the Armada?

A

The Armada travelled up the English channel and were attacked by fire ships in calais.
Strong wind pushes the armada up to Gravelines where the battle of Gravelines takes place and the Spanish have a crushing defeat.
The wind forced the weak armada north where many get wrecked as they travel around Scotland and Ireland to head back home.
Very few ships make it back to Spain.
