What does section 113 allow?
Gives police authority to enforce any legislative powers in relation to LTA, allows police to ask any person on a road for name address, phone number, date of birth and occupation. Also allows for the inspection of a vehicle as well as any documents displayed or in a vehicle.
What does section 114 allow?
Gives police power to stop a vehicle and ask for drivers details as well as making enquiries into any powers allowed in relation to section 113.
What does section 119 allow?
Gives police powers of entry when in fresh pursuit. Police must identify themselves and state entry is under section 119 to make the entry lawful.
What does section 120 allow?
The arrest of a person for alcohol or drug offences as well as assault on an officer.
What does section 121 allow?
Gives police powers to immobilise a vehicle as well as forbid a driver from driving for a period of time.
What does section 121A allow?
Police to forbid drivers when driving with the wrong licence.
