A
Allows a DAO to seek assistance from a constable. The constable has the power to enter a property and detain someone for no more then 6 hours or the time it takes to conduct the medical examination.

A
Any person found in a public place and acting in a manner that gives reasonable belief may be suffering from a mental illness or mental health episode can be detained by any constable and taken to a police station, hospital or surgery or to any other appropriate place to be examined by a medical professional
