A
Jacqui Lambie Network in 2019. Morrison government wanted to repeal Medevac laws, needed support of Senate crossbench, Lambie was able to negotiate conditions with government to win her vote

What is an example of conflicting mandates?
A
Balance of Power v Will of the Majority. A senate member with little support can sway votes against the government who represent the majority
