Client contact information and history of counseling

Approval to tape (for clinical supervision or if needed)
what is forensic assessment,
assessment used to be given to the courts for ruling.
what are 2 special considerations that need to be informed to the client when it comes to doing a forensic assessment
1- the client is not going to be given therapy (it is only for assessment)
2- client needs to underatnd the assessment and whom will be given the results.
what 9 points are needed for informed consent when it comes to research situations
accurately explains the purpose and procedures to be followed;
identifies any procedures that are experimental or relatively untried;
describes any attendant discomforts, risks, and potential power differentials between researchers and participants;
describes any benefits or changes in individuals or organizations that might reasonably be expected;
discloses appropriate alternative procedures that would be advantageous for participants;
offers to answer any inquiries concerning the procedures;
describes any limitations on confidentiality;
describes the format and potential target audiences for the dissemination of research findings; and
instructs participants that they are free to withdraw their consent and discontinue participation in the project at any time, without penalty.

consent from a minor for treatment. it is not legally binding but it does provide them means to carry on with their treatment witht the consent of the adult.
