Purpose of child study committee
A group of teachers and special educators who can read referrals and decide the help a child needs. They also come up with strategies to agreed the child’s learning, development, communication and behavior.
Role of RTI in assessment process
They can look at the interventions that a teacher has tried to help students in the past and use that knowledge to develop new strategies for helping that child. This may include going to the next step in the RTI model if something is not working, or get the student more intensive help.

School records, prior academic achievement, prior test scores, group standardized achievement, attendance records, prior teacher reports, group IQ information, prior teacher referrals, medical history in school nurses office, student work,
