9 steps in Assessment Process
Step 1. Identification of children
Step 2. Full and individual evaluation of the child by a multidisciplinary team
Step 3. Determination of eligibility for special education
Step 4. Scheduling an IEP meeting
Step 5. Holding an IEP meeting and then writing the IEP
Step 6. Providing the special education and related services to the student
Step 7. Progress monitoring
Step 8. IEP review
Step 9. Child is re-evaluated.
