Wescodyne plus.
3 pumps on the regulator side of the face piece and 3 pumps on the face side of the face piece.
A soft lint free cloth or sponge can be used. No paper products or blow drying should be used on the face piece.
What is the cleaning procedure for the regulator?
Depress donning switch, close purge valve, 6 pumps minimum of wescodyne plus into the regulator. Swirl around, turn upside down, allow 10 mins contact time, rinse the regulator with potable water. Do not submerge. Allow to air dry.
The coupling nut to the cylinde valve assembly should be tightened how?
Hand tight.
The only two cleaning materials that should be used to clean the air supply cylinder are?
Wescodyne plus and liquid dish detergent.
Under what conditions can compressed air be used for cleaning?
It must be reduced to less than 40 psi by and approved regulator. But compressed air from and scba cylinder should NeVer be used for cleaning.
