person is totally absorbed with what they’re doing. Task is challenging but not hard. They ar e in control of the situation. Person is so personally involved that they don’t think about themselves. Loss of sense of time.

people who are more in touch with themselves. less likely to use defense mechanisms because they perceive things accurately.

idea that even as children, we world towards self-actualization. This is the idea that children know innately that is good and bad for them.
