The sinoatrial node is known as the pace maker of the heart, it sends the electrical signal to the atrioventricular node and to the lungs for oxygenation.

55% Plasma 45% Red and White Blood Cells and platelets.

Arteries go in what direction?
Away from the heart (A=AWAY)
Veins go in what direction?
Back the heart
What Are Venules?
Small Veins that drain from capillaries into larger veins.
capillaries
function as an exchange channel between the vessels and bodily tissue.
arterioles
small veins that drain from capillaries into larger veins.
Valsalva Maneuver
increase in intra-abdominal pressure / pregnant/ high blood pressure.
breath through concentric and eccentric to avoid this.
