Relative Key
The key that has the same key signature, but opposite sound. e.g. Am and C
Parallel Key
The key that starts on the same note, but has a different time signature. e.g. Am and A
Find the relative minor of a major key
The 6th scale degree of major, is tonic in relative minor.
Natural Minor
The scale whose pitches exactly match the key signature of the relative major, although the tonic differs.
Harmonic Minor
Natural + raised leading tone
Melodic Minor
Ascending: Major scale + minor 3, descending, natural
