Abscess
Localized collection of puss at the site of infection.
Alopecia
Loss of hair from aging, endocrine disorder, drug addiction, skin disease, baldness
Bowen disease
Early form of skin cancer, easily treatable, has red scaly patch on the skin.
Cellulitis
Widespread infection of the skin and subcutaneous tissue
Chloasma
Pigmentary skin discoloration, usually yellowish brown patches or spots.
Comedo
Small skin lesions of acne plugging an excretory duct of the skin, the closed form is a whitehead
Decubitus ulcer
Inflammation, sore, or skin deterioration caused by prolonged pressure from lying in or position that prevents blood flow. Common in the elderly. Pressure ulcers.
Echymosis
Skin discoloration, large area bluish black to greenish brown or yellow, a bruise.
Eczema
Inflammatory skin condition characterized by erythema, papule, vesicles, accompanied by intense itching.
Erythema
Redness of the skin caused by swelling of the capillaries
Eschar
Dead matter sloughed off from the surface of the skin, especially after a burn
Impetigo
Isolated pustules that become crusted and rupture
Keratosis
Horny growth like a callus or wart
Lentigo
Small brown macules usually on face and arms usually brought on by sun exposure.
Pallor
Unnatural paleness or absence of color in the skin.
