Process of converting information into a message.
Ethnocentrism
View that one cultures way of doing things is the right way and any other way is inferior.
Feedback
Any information that an individual receives about his behavior.
Gestures
Nonverbal body movements that convey meaning to others.
Haptics
Study of touching. One of the most effective ways to help calm a patient and express your compassion and empathy.
Intimate Zone
Space within less than 1 1/2ft of an individual.
Leading Questions
Questions that suggest an answer guided by the individual who is asking the question.
