Caution:
AE: Local anesthetic systemic toxicity (LAST) - severe and life threatening –> may progress to seizure activity and then lead to symptoms of CNS depression, including coma, respiratory arrest, and cardiovascular depression
Other: Rapid effect, prolonged when combined with epinephrine; topical, injectable, nebulizer
Caution: DO NOT USE on fingers, ears, penis, nose, toes because capillaries will constrict and you will get no blood flow to those areas

Other: Absorbed rapidly at injection site –> onset of action is 2 to 5 minutes, duration of 1 hours
