FSH and LH stimulate follicle to grow in follicular phase

FSH and estradiol
when is progesterone important?
in the second 14 days, secreted by corpus luteum, thicken the endometrium
What causes LH surge?
elevated estradiol level peaks

in males what does FSH and LH do?
FSH creates sertoli cells, LH regulates Leydig cells which secrete testosterone and promote spermatogenesis
