What is some of the function of Vitamin A?
- Needed to form visual purple, allowing a person to see in dim light
- Essential for the production and maintenance of tissue lining that protects body organs
- Strengthen body’s immunity against inflection
- Acts as an antioxidant
What are some sources of Vitamin A?
Carrot, papaya,Cheddar cheese and egg yolk
What is the function of Vitamin D?
Works together with phosphorus to ensure calcium absorption, which then allows calcium to be deposited into the bones
What are some sources of vitamin D?
Sunlight (5 mins, 2 times a week), Shiitake mushrooms, Egg yolk
What is the function of Vitamin E?
Acts as an antioxidant against free radical (able to cause cancers and heart diseases)
What are the functions of Vitamin K?
- needed for the body to produce an anzyme that is involved in blood clotting
- is important for bone health as it is used in the formation of bones

Broccoli, Kiwi fruit, egg yolk

Almond, Butter, Egg yolk
