deception, self interested lies, lying to maintain a desirable impression
mystification
reserved for those with status and power and serves to maintain distance from the audience in order to keep them in awe

props, costume, gestures, and language
back stage
you let down your mask and you relax. The people who can see you for who you are (your primary group)
