What’s scree ??
A
Scree is the pieces of rock broken off bigger rocks that build up at the bottom of a slope and these piles of rock fragments are called scree

How does frost weather rocks ?
A
Water collects in the cracks
When the temperature drops it freezes and expands this widens the cracks and puts a strain on the rock
Freezing and thawing occur so frequently that the rock is gradually broken up

Where frost weathering occurs ?
A
In places where temperatures rise and fall below freezing point and precipitation occurs to provide water
Examples the Andes the alps the Rocky Mountains the mountains of Ireland
