Q

Treatment of adverse effects

A

If adverse effects appear, treatment should be discontinued until the treatment site has healed (examine after 3 weeks)

If site has healed, results can be observed - select a darker skin type or longer pulse duration and smooth pulse mode and or lower fluence

If adverse effects are observed and results cannot be observed, the patient should wait another 2 to 4 weeks and return for an additional examination

If no results can be observed during the second examination it should be determined whether the adverse effects were due to the fact that the patient skin was tanned

If adverse effects were not due to tanning. The treatment should be ceased until medical condition is further investigated
