A

Disclose your limitations. Inform the service provider that you aren’t familiar with the protocols or terminology required, but are willing to help due to immediate need, or until a replacement arrives. Warn parties involved that you may need to interrupt the session in order to ask for clarification. It’s a good idea to also request them to speak clearly, use simple vocabulary, and speak in short segments.
