Most emotions occur without our awareness

Cognitive Dissonance
Emotional experience caused by a perception that our beliefs, feelings, and behaviour are incongruent.

Effort, planning and control needed to express organizationally desired emotions during interpersonal transactions.

Difficult to accurately display expected
