Q

How do you work out harder half equations?

A
  1. Work out the change in oxidation number for the element that is not oxygen or hydrogen
  2. Balance that element and add electrons
  3. Add water molecules to balance the oxygen
  4. Add hydrogen ions to balance the hydrogen
