What is Project integration management?
-It includes all the process and activities you need to: identify, define, combine, unify, and co-ordinate
-It also includes; the characteristics of unification, consolidation, articulation, integrative actions, managing stakeholder expectations, meeting requirements
What is a project charter?
-A document authorizing a project or phase, it identifies initial requirements that satisfy stakeholder’s needs and expectations
-It establishes a partnership between the requester or customer and the performer, and approved charters initiate projects

-Project charter is the final output– it documents the business needs, current understanding of the customer’s needs, and the new product, service or result that it is intended to satisfy such as; risks, budgets, schedules etc.
What is the Project Management Plan?
-Documents the actions necessary to define, prepare, integrate and coordinate all plans
-Defines how the project is executed, monitored/controlled and closed
-Plan is updated, controlled, and approved through the perform integration change control process
When are project managers assigned with respect to the charter?
-Early on preferably while the charter is being developed and always before the start of planning

-Process of performing the work defined in the project management plan to achieve the project’s objectives, it implements the planned methods and standards
