What is Narration?
A
It is the oldest and best known form of verbal communication. It is, quite simply, the telling of a story.
A good story is almost always told to make a point.
An example of bad narration would be someone talking on and on without making a point. Adding excess details that are unnecessary.

What are the steps for writing a narrative paragraph?
A
- Study the given topic, then plan your topic sentence with its controlling idea.
- List the events that come to mind when you think about the topic you have chosen.
- Choose the five or six most important events from your list.
- Out your final list in order.
- Write at least one complete sentence for each of the events you have chosen from your list.
- Write a concluding statement that gives some point to the events of the story.
- Finally, copy your sentence into standard paragraph form.
