During much of the 17th century. these initial differences grew stronger as each region responded to different environmental conditions and developed its own tradition.
What did early New England-ers believe?
That God had ordained the family for human benefit. It was central to shaping their society.

In the New England society what was the social hierarchy?
That there was not classes and that the rulers were natural rulers that were ordained by God. Though with time they seemed to create their own social groupings.
What are yeoman?
independent farmers
What were the youths from the old world coming over for?
Opportunity that in the native country would be impossible to find. Often the youth were the “fuck-ups” of society.
What was the problem with the Chesapeak bay people?
Morality rates were high and marriages were not really the greatest
How were the women of Chesapeake bay?
They were often married in their late teens. It is said that they got to pick who ever man she please since there as no martial consent.
Who are the domineering class in Chesapeake bay colony?
Th Great planters, They invested in a lot of capital in the spent most time managing the farms in order to bring in profit.
