Baptism is the belief in both the humanity and divinity of Jesus, that Jesus died and rose to save us from sin, and that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
What work is the Catholic Church dedicated to doing?
Ecumenism.
What is ecumenism?
The work to promote unity of all Christians.
When do we advocate for ecumenism?
We pray for Christian unity every Mass, each year in January we celebrate a week of prayer for Christian unity, and prayer services and discussion groups are held.
