A Marxist perspective of a transitory and revolutionary period between capitalism and communism wherein the ruling class is purged from the land, all people are equal and the government owns everything; the period is marked by violence

A concept that advocates a method of arousing a level of political consciousness among proletarians in order to foster the belief among them that revolution and any changes it brings are far preferable to the status quo
