WHO’s definition of health
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not nearly the absence of disease or infirmity
Wellbeing
A state of being comfortable, health or happy
Physical health
The efficient function of the body and all its systems, and includes the physical capacity to preform tasks and physical fitness.
Mental health
State of wellbeing where and individual realises his or her own abilities, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work proactively and fruitfully, and is able to make contributions to the community.
Social health
Being able to interact with others and participate in the community in both an indispensable and cooperative way.
