Cervical Spine
Thoracic Spine

Vertebral Canal

Cervical Spine : C1 (atlas), C2 (axis), - C7. Cervical curvature, slightly concave towards the back

Thoracic Spine: T1-T12, curvature slightly more convex. Anything where the ribs attach. Chest protection

Lumbar Spine: L1-L5: slightly concave. Lower back region, support for everything above, stability for low back.

Sacral Spine: S1-S5, fused. Part of pelvic girdle, connecting lower limbs to back. For support

Coccygeal Spine: Co1-Co4, fused. Muscle attachment

Rotation: Slight movement on axis. Even on every vertebral level. Slightly more in cervical spine
