  1. Click insert on ribbon. Click Add a Header button. Click down scroll arrow to see available headers.

Insert a page number

  1. Click header and footer tools design tab. Click add page numbers button to current position command.
  2. Click Plain Number in current position gallery.

  1. Click References on ribbon. Click Bibliography Style arrow.
  2. Click ‘MLA Seventh Edition’ in Bibliography Style gallery.

To edit Citation with page numbers.

A
  1. Click and highlight citation to be edited. Click citation options arrow.
  2. Click Edit citation. Type page numbers in pages text box. Place check mark beside Author and Title box.
  3. Click OK to close dialog box. Press END key.

  1. Place insertion point at end of page. Click Insert a Page Break button to left of insertion point and immediately below manual page break.

  1. Press CTRL=+E to center paragraph mark.
  2. Type Works cited as title.
  3. Press enter key.
  4. Press CTRL=+L to left-align paragraph mark.

  1. Click References tab. With insertion point at left margin. Click Bibliography button.
  2. Click Insert Bibliography button.
    note: n.d. stands for no date.

A
  1. Click References tab, manage sources button.
    Click source you wish to edit.
    Click edit button. (ex. title text box delete any words)
  2. Click OK.

To check spelling and grammar at once.

  1. Press CTRL+Home. Click review on ribbon.Click spelling and grammar button.
  2. Highlight word to be changed. Click change button.
  3. If spelled correctly, click Ignore button.
  4. Click OK.
