What is an element?
A chemically pure substance characterized by the amount of protons it has.
What is a mixture?
A solution(solid, liquid or gas) containing two or more elements and/or compounds.
What is a compound?
A substance containing two or elements bonded together.
What is a homogenous mixture?
A solution composed of one phase of matter, with two elements/compounds evenly distributed throughout.
What is a Heterogenous mixture?
A mixture in which two substances are separated and are not evenly distributed.
