Job Analysis Program
The Job Analysis Program would cover three elements:
- Company policy and administration of the Program [What is the purpose of the job analysis information?]

Job Description

Indicates the qualifications in terms of skills, experience, training, and other special qualifications as well the traits required of the worker to satisfactorily perform the job.
Job Specification
Describes the job in terms of key result areas and the functions and the roles and the competencies. The job profile has less emphasis on specs, and processes.

- The tools and equipment used to perform the tasks

Write the Task statements
- will be used in the task inventory
๐ Task statements should be written at a level that can be read and understood
๐ Should be written in the same tense
๐ Include the tools and equipment used to complete the task.

๐ Task statements should not be a policy (e.g, โTreats people nicely

Determine Essential KSAOs
Once the task that are essential for the proper performance of a job, the next step is to identify the KSAOโs needed to perform the task.
๐ A Knowledge is a body of information needed to perform a task

๐ An Ability is a basic capacity for performing a wide range of different tasks, acquiring a knowledge, or developing a skill.
๐ Other characteristics Include such personal factors as personality, willingness, interest, and motivation and such tangible factors as license degrees and years of experience
๐ Subject matter experts (SME) - Sources such as supervisors and incumbents who are knowledgeable about a job.
๐ Job analyst - The person conducting the job analysis.
๐ SME conference - A group analysis interview consisting of subject matter expert.
๐ Task Inventory- A questionnaire containing a list of task each of which the job incumbent rates on a series of scales
๐ Task analysis - The process of identifying the tasks for which employees need to be trained
