Administrative Law
Law that is created by elected representatives in the form of acts. (then voted in).
Bylaws
Rules or regulations that apply only to a small jurisdiction like a company the district of north vancouver.
Civil/ Private Law
Law that only pertains between individuals and individuals and individuals and non-goververment organizations. (protects Civil Rights).
Constitutional Law
All Laws that are created federal, provincial, or municipal must all comply with canada’s Constitution or they are shut down. Constitutional law governs all interactions between the government and its citizens.
Contract Law
Contract Law deals with transactions and every day goods/service. (people enter in mutual contract and if one party is not happy they may bring it up in court.)
Criminal Law
Criminal Law focuses on what are crimes and how they are dealt with. Criminal Law is run from a federal level. while provinces can influence Criminal Law
