A

This case was a fight between representation of slaves vs. the supreme court. One slave was supposed to freed based on the Missouri Compromise, but was denied his right based on the premise that all slaves were property - so he could not be free. This was known as one of the worst rulings in Supreme Court history.

A

Dissenters were known as people who disagreed with the majority. Many scholars agreed with this group of people and believed the ruling for the Dred Scott Case was unconstitutional.

A
