What differentiation of self mean?
It involves both the psychological separation of intellect and emotion and independence of the self from others.
What is multigenerational family therapy?
It is a theoretical and clinical model that evolved from psychoanalytical principles and practices.
What does blaming mean?
Is when one shifts responsibility to someone else in an effort to preserve the self.
What does placating mean?
Taking the blame to protect someone else from being held responsible.
What does super reasonable mean?
This is done to maintain control of ones mess or painful emotions.
What does irrelevance mean?
Is any distracting communication used to avoid stress or pain altogether.
What does congruence mean?
in which one speaks for ones self, stays grounded and is able to share what he or she is feeling and ask for what is needed.
