What are some factors affecting male infertility
Sperm production: low sperm count, abnormal sperm, abnormal mobility.
Semen may flow into bladder, not urethra, immune system may produce antibodies for own sperm, blockages for occur, hormonal imbalance affecting sex drive and production of sperm
What is Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
hormonal condition where ovaries contain partially formed follicles that failed to mature, eggs not released
What is Hyperprolactinemia
High levels of prolactin released, results in intermittent or lack of ovulation
What is endometriosis
Condition where cells of endometrium grow outside uterus. Resulting scar tissue or distortion of the uterine tubules may block eggs release or path to uterus
What are fibroids
benign growths in muscular parts of the uterus, only affects fertility if distorts uterine cavity or blocks uterine tubes
