Why could they have fallen>
A
- syncope - due to dysrhythmias, venous pooling, orthostatic hypotension, hypoxia, anemia or hypoglycemia
- alcohol and medications e.g. anti-hypertension, diuretics, hypoglycemic agents
- changes in postural stability
- slower reaction times
- poor visual acuity and visual attention
