Chapter 13 Flashcards
What three-step evolutionary process does Hegel say needs to occur before the absolute mind/absolute idealism (Geist) comes closer to realization and/or perfection?
Hegel took kants theory, but believes we can all evolve to reach perfection, the ideal, or Giest “ghost” , he believes is god .evovlution requires struggle.
we do this through a dialectic.
Thesis: interaction in original condition(original idea) ie sophists
Antithesis: in a contrary condition ( counter it) ie socrates
Synthesis:poduce a new condition (a combo of thesis and antithesis) ie plato
According to Marx, who are the bourgeoisie and who are the proletariat and what does each “do?”
