Group Interventions
nurses can be called on to lead a group in a community at the hospital etc.
groups can be open, with new members joining at any time or closed with members admitted only one
either small or large groups can be effective, but dynamics change in different size groups
small group size <8
- cohesive
- fewer subgroups
- ideal for complex individual

- more cost effective
- open ended, ongoing
- less intense transference, countertransference
