What is the difference between race and ethnicity?
- race is a category of people who have been singled out, based on real or alleged physical characteristics
- Ethnic Group is a collection of people distinguished by others or by themselves, based on culture or nationality
What is the interactionalist perspective on race and ethnic relations?
increased contact between people from divergent groups should lead to favourable attitudes when groups:
