Children
- Feeling closer to one child over the other is normal

- after being married for 6 years, a couple is out of the main danger divorce zone

- Does not increase your chance of getting divorced
- Marriage survival rate is not impacted
- When having conflict or a different in opinion, keep to the issue and do not get personally hurtful

- Compromising your own need for your partners well being helps relationship stay strong and lovingly survive

- In a marriage spend time doing exciting things together
- Incorporate doing exciting activities together that you and your spouse both love
